Overview
Embark on a spiritually enriching 11-day journey through North India’s sacred cities and cultural landmarks. Experience Varanasi’s divine Ganga Aarti and Kashi Vishwanath Temple, discover the Buddhist heritage of Bodh Gaya, and seek blessings at Vindhyachal and Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam. Continue to the holy towns of Chitrakoot and Ayodhya, explore Naimisharanya and Lucknow’s historic monuments, and conclude with the Taj Mahal, Mathura, Vrindavan and Delhi.
Tour Itinerary
- Arrival: Meet and assist upon arrival at Varanasi Airport / Railway Station. Transfer to hotel and check-in.
- Evening: Evening visit to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the grand Ganga Aarti and a boat ride along the sacred ghats.
- Overnight Stay: Varanasi.
- Morning: Early morning darshan at Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kal Bhairav Temple.
- Mid-Day: Drive from Varanasi to Bodh Gaya (approx. 250 km / 5.5 hours). Check-in at hotel upon arrival.
- Afternoon/Evening: Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Mahabodhi Temple Complex and the Sacred Bodhi Tree.
- Overnight Stay: Bodh Gaya.
- Morning: Visit the 80-Foot Great Buddha Statue and international Buddhist monasteries (Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, Bhutanese Monastery).
- Afternoon: Drive back from Bodh Gaya to Varanasi (approx. 250 km / 5.5 hours).
- Overnight Stay: Varanasi.
- Morning: Check out and drive to Vindhyachal, Mirzapur (approx. 65 km / 2 hours) for darshan at Maa Vindhyavasini Shaktipeeth Temple.
- Afternoon: Proceed to Prayagraj (approx. 90 km / 2.5 hours). Check-in at hotel.
- Evening: Visit Triveni Sangam (confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers) for holy dip/boat ride, and pay respects at the Bade Hanuman Ji Temple (Lying Hanuman Temple).
