Overview
Morning pick up from local city hotel at 0530 hrs. and drive to Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary. (Approx. 41 KM | 1 ½ HRS Drive).
Visit Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary and take a walk tour of Bird Sanctuary. To facilitate bird watching, there are four watch towers (machans) located at different points. In addition, there is adequate parking and facilities like toilets and drinking water. The Educational Interpretation Center has been established here to offer proper guidance to the tourist visiting the place. Every year 90 migratory bird species arrive here in search of feeding grounds and to spend the winter. In winter, the sanctuary provides a picturesque panorama of migratory birds and even in summer, some species of migratory birds come here.
Later, drive back to local village near Gurugram for relax and enjoy tea & coffee. After relaxing we will explore village. drive back to your hotel in Delhi/Gurgaon.
Tour Itinerary
Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Delhi or Gurugram. Travel in a comfortable private air-conditioned vehicle to Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary (approximately 41 km / 1.5 hours).
Upon arrival, meet your professional English-speaking guide and begin your guided walk through the sanctuary. Explore its scenic wetlands, walking trails, and watchtowers while learning about the rich ecosystem and diverse bird species.
Spend the morning observing a wide variety of resident and migratory birds from the sanctuary’s four watchtowers. Depending on the season, you may spot Painted Storks, Pelicans, Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Flamingos, Spoonbills, Ducks, Cranes, and many other fascinating bird species.
Visit the Interpretation Centre to learn about the sanctuary’s ecology, bird migration patterns, conservation efforts, and the importance of protecting wetland habitats.
Drive to a nearby traditional village near Gurugram and enjoy tea or coffee while experiencing the peaceful rural surroundings. Take a short walk through the village to learn about local culture and daily life.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your return journey.
After enjoying lunch, begin your comfortable drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Delhi or Gurugram, marking the end of your memorable bird-watching and countryside experience.
